It’s the first real blast of winter, and it appears to be coming in strong.

Environment Canada has issued Snowfall Warnings for a section of northern, central and east central Saskatchewan, including Prince Albert, Humboldt, Melfort, Meadow Lake and Hudson Bay.

Communities under warning criteria could see between 10-20 cm of snow on Wednesday.

Road conditions are expected to worsen rapidly with the storm.
