Tonight, the Regina Pats are back on home ice as they welcome the Calgary Hitmen.
However, this is no regular game. Tonight is the annual Teddy Bear Toss.
Fans are asked to bring a new stuffed toy, preferably inside a clean plastic bag to prevent it from getting dirty on the ice.
Once the Queen City boys score their first goal, fans will toss their stuffed toys onto the ice.
If you aren’t able to bring a stuffed animal, a limited amount of free stuffed animals will be given out above section 116 by the Subway.
Once again, a portion of the toys will go to The Salvation Army and for the first time since the start of the pandemic members of the Pats will get to hand deliver toys to local hospitals.
The game will begin with the puck drop at 7 p.m.
