A Foot of Snow Expected in Southeast Saskatchewan – Environment Canada

If you live in Southeast Saskatchewan – you might want to make sure your snow shovel is at the ready.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement – warning of as much as a foot of snow could fall in the region between now and the weekend.

A Colorado low is expected to dump heavy wet snow in the region especially along the international border.

Conditions will improve Friday into Saturday as the Colorado low continues to track eastward, ushering in another surge of Arctic air, bringing back more normal temperatures.

In the next few days please monitor the highway hotline if you have any holiday travel plans.
