A test of the Alert Ready National Public Alerting System will be done at 1:55 p.m. Saskatchewan time.

While the system does disseminate alerts to television and radio broadcast distributors, and to compatible wireless devices connected to LTE cellular networks, not everyone will get it.

That’s due to issues like availability of an LTE network, cell tower coverage and individual device software and settings.
