Regina fire crews responded to a fire at CMS Metal Products, on 8th Avenue and Winnipeg Street, shortly before 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
All of the business’s employees were accounted for and no injuries were reported.
According to Regina Fire and Protective Services, the fire was contained to the “west shop”, which was a result of a quick response and aggressive tactics by firefighters.
While the fire was mostly under control, the fire in the scrap metal yard may be hard to fully extinguish.
RFPS added that the fire required the help of half of Regina’s fire crews.
The fire is under investigation, and the cause of it is unknown.
