The worst appears to be over from the November blizzard that hit Saskatchewan Tuesday and Wednesday.
Environment Canada has removed the blizzard warnings that were in effect across the province. In the Regina and Moose Jaw , it has been replaced by a blowing snow advisory, which calls for poor visibility at times on roads and highways. Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow that provides poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least three hours.
As of 11:00 AM Wednesday, wind warnings remain in effect for the southeast corner of Saskatchewan, including Estevan, Weyburn, Carlyle, Oxbow, and their surrounding areas.
Winter storm warnings also remain in place for Hudson Bay, Pelican Narrows, and their surrounding areas.
The wind is expected remain gusting to up to 70 km/h during the day Wednesday, but it is also expected to calm down overnight for Regina and area.
