COVID-19 case confirmed at O’Neill High School

An individual at Archbishop M.C. O’Neill High School has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an abundance of caution, the affected classroom has been closed. Prior to moving to Hybrid model, the individual attended 2 full days of classes.

Students in those class will have to isolate until December 3rd. The classmate of the affected student in their hybrid classrooms will isolate until December 11th. All parents/guardians of those students have been notified.

The School Division says they are working closely with public health and will ensure all measures are in place to protect students. All other classrooms will remain open.
