The Monday update from the province on COVID-19 shows we are now sitting at 34 active cases.
There are four new cases to report. One each in the Saskatoon, east central, south central and southwest regions which brings the provincial total to 1,619 reported cases.
Investigations completed thus far have found that five of the 34 active cases are in communal living settings. As the number of active cases in communal living settings is now very low, the ministry of health says it will no longer be reported separately unless the number of active cases in these settings rises above 20.
Of the 34 active cases in Saskatchewan, 11 are in Saskatoon.
Three people are in hospital. Two of those three are in intensive care in Saskatoon.
