It’s no secret that 2020 has been an interesting, difficult, and eye opening year for all of us thanks to this darn Covid-19 virus. It has made us rethink and reevaluate a lot of things in our own lives and, perhaps, look a things a little more humorously. In other words we (and I mean everyone in every walk of life) have been forced to get very creative in our approach to things as 2020 moves along.

If this year happened to be a pizza what would be on it? What would you put on your 2020 pizza? My 2020 pizza would probably look something like this: burnt pizza dough with layers of slimy ham, pork and beans, anchovies, Limburger cheese, radishes, and just a sprinkle of gravel and pineapple on top!

Not a very pleasant pizza to say the least, but I think it kind of sums up how 2020 has gone so far. The burnt dough represents a rough start to the year and it didn’t get a whole lot better as the year went along. Now that we’re on the final three months of the 2020 I feel like there is more of an optimism present now than there was a few months ago, hence why I included the sweet, and delicious pineapple onto the the top pizza layers at the end.

Let’s hope 2021 is like a rich, moist chocolate cake and not a gravely and smelly 2020 pizza!
