One woman charged in Saturday morning stabbing in Regina’s Rosemont neighbourhood

A Regina woman is facing charges in connections to a weapons offence on the 1100 block of Empress Street on Saturday.

Police were called to the scene at about 11:45 Saturday morning, where three suspects were allegedly seen carrying bladed weapons. An altercation then took place between the suspects and a number of individuals in and around a residence.

One man was stabbed in the fight, and was taken to hospital. The suspects then fled the scene.

One Sunday, police were able to identify and arrest a 48 year-old woman in connection to this incident.

Lori Munroe is now charged with break and enter and failure to comply with a condition of undertaking.

Police are still searching for the remaining two suspects in this matter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers.
