There’s another 405 new cases of COVID-19 being reported Wednesday on the provincial government COVID-19 dashboard.
The total marks the sixth straight day Saskatchewan has seen at least 300 cases of COVID-19 in a day.
The new cases come from Saskatoon (98), the north central (78), the far north east (71), the north west (39), the far north west (22), Regina (17), the north east (14), the central east (10), the central west (seven), the south east (six), the south central (four), the far north west (three), and the south west (two).
Over one-third of the cases are in the 20-39 age group. Just 13.3 percent of cases are in fully vaccinated individuals.
Two more people have died after testing positive for COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 615.
The seven-day average of daily new cases is at 362. Just seven days ago, the average was 271.
Another 256 people have recovered, but the active case count has increased to 3,331.
When it comes to hospitalizations, there are 181 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 32 in ICU.
Another 3,387 tests for COVID-19 were issued.
When it comes to vaccines, another 393 doses were administered, including 192 first doses.
