Williams-Lambert re-ups with Riders

Jordan Williams-Lambert is back with the Riders after coming to terms on a one-year contract extension.

Williams-Lambert had a sensational rookie season in 2018 that saw him win the West nominee as rookie of the year.  He hauled in 62 passes for 764 yards and four touchdowns and used that season to gain himself a contract with the Chicago Bears.   While he played in some pre-season games for the Bears, he was unable to crack the roster and came back to Saskatchewan where he made five catches for 57 yards in three games.

The Riders also announced the release of receiver Kenny Stafford on Wednesday.
