A Regina man is facing charges in connection to a robbery and assault that happened in August.
On Wednesday, August 12th, at approximately 9:05 pm, Regina Police were dispatched to a report of a robbery on the 300 block of Rae Street North. When police arrived, they located an injured man.
The victim had allegedly been approached by a man who asked to borrow his phone, the man then assaulted him, stole his phone, and other personal property, and fled on foot.
The victim was transported to hospital.
Investigation led police to identifying the suspect, who was arrested on Wednesday.
21-year-old Tyler Eric Goforth has been charged with robbery, aggravated assault, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Goforth made his first court appearance Thursday morning.
