RCMP are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that happened yesterday evening near Sovereign, Sask.
An SUV and a semi collided on Highway #15 at about 6:40 p.m. Thursday.
The driver of the SUV was a 21-year-old man from Milden, Saskatchewan and he was declared deceased at the scene by EMS. His family has been notified. RCMP have not released the man’s name.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the collision.
Rosetown RCMP say the highway had been closed for six hours but has re-opened.
Diesel fuel spilled onto the roadway and police warn it may be especially slippery there.
The investigation continues with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision recontructionist.
