Regina Police say 31-year-old Abdimalik Mohamed, has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of 29-year-old Ahi S. Ebrotie.
Just before 6:00 a.m. on November 14, police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Heseltine Road, in the southeast part of the city, for the report of a death.
Officers and EMS arrived and located Ebrotie, dead at the scene.
A homicide investigation was then announced two days later with investigations leading to Mohamed’s arrest on Tuesday.
The accused, who’s also been charged with breaching a release order, makes his first court appearance Wednesday morning.
