A 36-year-old Regina man was arrested last night in the North Central part of the City.

Last night members of Regina Police were conducting an investigation in the 1000 block of McTavish Street, where Harold Hanson was taken into custody by SWAT members.

Hansen is charged with robbery, assault with a weapon, extortion, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.

In addition to these new charges, Hanson had Warrants for Unlawfully at Large, Canada Wide and Discharge Firearm in a Reckless Manner and Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order.
