One death; 49 new COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan

Monday’s COVID-19 numbers continue to show numbers dropping.

The province is reporting 49 new cases with one more death.  That death brings the provincial total to 926.

The 49 new cases are the lowest one-day number since August 3 when 24 new infections were announced

The new cases are located in the Far North East (1), North West (5), North Central (5), North East (1), Saskatoon (8), Central East (6), Regina (13), South West (1), South Central (2) and South East (6) zones and one (1) new case has pending residence information.  The active case count is now at 858.

130 people are in hospital including 39 in the ICU.  There are also five people still requiring out-of-province care at this time.

The province adds there has been a reported 16,696 doses administered in the five to 11 age range including just under 4,600 in Regina.
