Saskatoon man buys a new canoe with just Canadian Tire money

You can’t get much more Canadian than buying a canoe with a briefcase full of Canadian Tire money.

That’s what Tomas Terfloth did Thursday in Saskatoon.

The price including tax came to $776.99.

Most of the money was in 10-cent bills.

Terfloth didn’t do it alone, though. He received a large donation from friends, family, and others.

Terfloth plans to paddle his new canoe today on Emma Lake.
