Positive COVID-19 cases announced at Regina Public schools Tuesday

Positive cases have been found at George Lee School, W.F. Ready School and W.S. Hawrylak School on Tuesday, according to Regina Public Schools.

Affected classes at the schools will be switching to remote learning starting Thursday.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority informed Regina Public Schools of the cases on Tuesday. Close contacts have been provided with information about self-isolation from the school division.

The schools remain open for all other students and staff.

Regina Public shared in a statement that no automated phone calls were made to school families and letters have been sent to school families.
