Special Weather Advisories are out across portions of central and southern Saskatchewan, including for Regina and Moose Jaw, as a shift from mild weather to cooler temperatures is going to set in.
Environment Canada says that will bring a mix of rain, snow and freezing rain.
A narrow band of 2 to 5 cm of snowfall accumulation will stretch from roughly Leader to Regina, with freezing rain most likely early Wednesday afternoon.
As for the temperature, a high of 1 C is expected for Regina on Wednesday, but by Sunday a high of just -16 C is in the forecast.
The normal daytime high for the Queen City this time of year is about -9 C.
