The Government of Saskatchewan has appointed two new judges.
Noah Evanchuk is being appointed as a judge to the Provincial Court in Regina.
Evanchuk received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004 and began his career as a lawyer in Regina. A release says he has focused on criminal law since 2007.
Murray Pelletier is also being appointed to the Provincial Court in North Battleford.
Pelletier is a member of the Cowessess First Nation of the Treaty 4 Territory. He received his law degree in 2007 from the U of S and began his career with Legal Aid Saskatchewan.
Pelletieris replacing Judge Bauer who is transferring to the Provincial Court in Saskatoon.
