Co-op Hail expects to wrap up adjusting hail claims from late August and early September shortly

Co-op Hail is expected to wrap up adjusting hail claims Friday from widespread storms in late August and early September.

Chief Operating Officer Dan Anderson says the loss was extensive, with his office facing 227 claims valued at about $5-million from the last day of August and the first of September.

Anderson says the storms damaged crops from Assiniboia to Regina, Yorkton and Prince Albert.

He says the average claim is close to $30,000.
