First week of school sees 14 positive COVID-19 cases

Some encouraging numbers are coming out of Saskatchewan’s schools when it comes to COVID-19 testing.

The province had indicated more detailed information on kids would be released each week once the school year started. The first report is in and it shows that in the week from September 7-12, that there were 14 active cases diagnosed —- 9 of them in Saskatoon with Regina having none.

In total, 1,845 tests were done on kids up to the age of 19.
