$50,000 rewards to solve two Regina mysteries extended for another year

Two unsolved mysteries in Regina are going to continue to have big rewards attached to them as police look to find the person or persons responsible.

At a board of police commissioners meeting on Tuesday,  police said a $50,000 reward that leads to a conclusion in the 2004 disappearance of five-year-old Tamra Keepness and the triple homicide of the Htoo family in 2010 will continue.

Keepness went missing from her home, just east of the downtown core, in the summer of 2004 sparking one of the biggest searches in Regina history, but to this day it is not known what happened to her.

31 year old Gray Htoo (TOO), his wife and three year old son were found dead in the summer of 2010 in their home on Oakview Drive in the city’s north end.

Police chief Evan Bray says while thousands of hours have been put it when it comes to investigating both cases, they have yet to find the one crucial piece of information needed to bring one or both to a resolution.
