Moose Jaw residents to experience possible water pressure loss due to Pumphouse work

The city of Moose Jaw is advising it’s residents that they may experience some reduced water pressure this week.

The Engineering Services have a planned shutdown of the Northeast Reservoir Pumphouse beginning Sunday.

The shutdown is expected to last until Friday pending regulatory water sample test results.

There will no be no water supply interruption during the shutdown.

The purpose of the shutdown is to allow crews to proceed with the demolition of the old influent line.

The new line from the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant to the Pumphouse is already in operation.
