Regina Pats phenom Connor Bedard, has made Canada’s National Junior Team, making him the fist 16-year-old to do so since Connor McDavid, in 2014.
Bedard is also just the seventh player in the history of the event to crack the roster at 16.
The 25 man roster was named on Sunday, it includes 12 players from the WHL.
Bedard has 24 points in 24 games with the Pats this year and leads the WHL in shots on goal.

Canada opens the tournament on Boxing Day against the Czech Republic, Pats defenseman Stanislav Svozil will be playing for the Czechs.
