Regina Police issue their seventh fine for someone disobeying COVID-19 health regulations

Regina Police have issued their seventh $2,800 fine for breaking heath regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning officers received a complaint about a large gathering at an apartment on the 1100 block of Broadway Avenue.

When police arrived they were able to confirm there were at least eight people in the apartment , at the time private gatherings were limited to no more than five people.

A woman who’s name was not made public received a ticket with the fine on Wednesday.

Starting today private gatherings in homes are prohibited until at least January 15th, those living alone can visit one household with no more than five occupants.
