What was an investigation into an alleged attempted murder is now being called “a non-criminal matter” by Regina Police.

RPS says further investigation into the incident on September 9 in which a man claimed to be attacked by two men on the 1300 block of Athol Street by two men has resulted in the cause of the injuries sustained by the 43-year-old man were not criminal in nature as previously indicated, and that there poses no additional risk to the public.
