62 New Covid-19 cases in Saskatchewan

As Ottawa is urging against international travel due to the Omicron Variant, and some provinces see record numbers – Saskatchewan’s new case numbers remain low today.

62 new cases of Covid-19 are being reported in the province, of the new cases 16 are in the Regina area, 7 are in the Saskatoon zone, and 9 are in the North Central region.

Hospitalizations are down by 5 – bringing that number to 105.

The active case count is down to 538 along with 69 recoveries.

On the vaccine front there were 1194 doses issued including 690 individuals receiving their first dose of the vaccine.

The provincial death toll sees no increase today – holding at 941.
