While parts of Canada are seeing record numbers of new Covid-19 infections, numbers in Saskatchewan remain low.

Reporting 49 new cases across the province with 11 cases in the Regina area, 24 in the Saskatoon zone, and 3 in the Central East Region.

Hospitalizations are up by 1, bringing that number to 107 with 33 patients in the ICU.

The active case count is up to 548 with 49 recoveries.

Sadly there is 1 death to report due to COVID-19 in the province – bringing that number to 942.

On the vaccine front there were 1824 doses issued including 836 individuals receiving their second dose of the vaccine.
