Regina opens outdoor rinks and opens shelters starting tomorrow

Outdoor rinks in the City of Regina have been opened giving residents a chance to lance up their skates.

The City of Regina maintains 59 outdoor rinks including 23 boarded sites and 36 non-boarded sites. Most outdoor boarded rinks are equipped with push-button activated lights, as well as the 1,000-metre speed-skating oval in Mount Pleasant Park

During the school holidays, beginning December 27, the four rink shelters listed below will be open to the public. Masks must be worn inside all rink shelters.

  • Grassick Park Rink – 3131 3rd Ave (Open 12 to 5 p.m. – Dec 27 to Dec 29)
  • Judge Bryant Rink – 1418 Brown St  (Open 12 to 5 p.m. – Dec 27 to Dec 30)
  • Lakeview Park Rink – 2910 Athol St  (12 to 5 p.m. – Dec 27 to Dec 30)
  • Rochdale Park Rink – 1127 Arnason St (12 to 5 p.m. – Dec 27 to Dec 31)
