The Saskatchewan Health Authority has issued a public health alert after people who has tested positive for COVID-19 visited several businesses in Warman, Saskatoon, and Regina while likely infectious.
In Regina, the COVID-19 patient visited Once Upon a Child from 12:00-1:00 PM, A & W on Avonhurst Drive from 1:00-2:00 PM and Amazing Adventures from 5;45-7:00 PM on September 24, while also visiting the Harbour Landing Co-op on September 25th from 4:45-5:05 PM.
Meanwhile, a COVID-19 patient visited the McDonald’s restaurant in Warman from 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM, and also the Burger King from 5:50 to 6:30 PM on September 25th. The patient also attended the movie ‘Unhinged’ at the 8th Street Cineplex Cinemas on September 26th between 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
Anyone who was at these businesses during these dates and times are being asked to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
If symptoms develop, the SHA says the person should self-isolate immediately and seek a testing referral from HealthLine 811.
COVID-19 symptoms can take up to 14 days to develop after exposure.
