The Moose Jaw Warriors released a statement Thursday morning saying it will be launching a formal review of its primary logo.

That logo features a person wearing an Indigenous head-dress.

The statement says this represents the next step in what has been an ongoing internal discussion to this point in time and that the club will be engaging with stakeholders and community partners as part of this review process.

It does not say how long the review process will take.
