A Regina man is facing several charges in connection to a weapons and drugs investigation conducted by Regina Police.
Just after 9:30 Thursday morning, police were called to an apartment building on Kleisinger Crescent, where a man was reportedly in possession of a knife and a gun while threatening one person while chasing another towards a business near the 9th Avenue North and Broad Street intersection.
Police observed a man who matched the suspect description and took him into custody without incident. The man had a large knife, a shotgun shell, and drugs believed to be fentanyl and meth.
24 year-old Shayden Thompson faces 10 charges, including two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a scheduled substance.
