Potential COVID exposures announced for Yorkton and Prince Albert

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning the public of new COVID-19 exposures in Prince Albert and Yorkton.

On September 27th, a person who tested positive for COVID-19 visited a Prince Albert Safeway location in the South Hill Mall from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, and then again from 6:00 until 9:00 PM while likely infectious. On October 4th, a COVID patient also visited the River Park Funeral Home from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Then in Yorkton, the SHA says a COVID patient stopped at the Pumphouse Athletic Club at no specified times on October 1st, 2nd and 3rd. While this business has had to deal with a COVID-19 outbreak and disinfecting measures have been increased, the SHA warns the exposure risk still exists within the gym.

Anyone who was at these businesses is being asked to self-monitor for symptoms and to seek a testing referral and self-isolate immediately if symptoms develop.
