A Melville man who went missing on the afternoon of Oct. 7 has been found dead.

Melville RCMP say 90 year-old Albert Serfas was reported missing on Thursday after leaving his residence and not returning, with investigators saying it was unusual for him to be gone for such a long period of time.

It is not known where Surfas was found. Foul play is not suspected and his next-of-kin have been notified.
