Saskatchewan ICE Unit arrest Loon Lake man for child porn offences

A Loon Lake man is facing several charges as a result of a short investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

On January 16th, a concerned grandparent made a complaint to the Saskatoon Police about their 10 year-old being sexually lured through social media.

The investigation identified the suspect and a temporary residence he was residing in. On Wednesday, the ICE Unit and Saskatoon Police executed a search warrant where they arrested the suspect and seized his mobile device.

26 year-old Steven Lasas faces five charges, including possession of child porn and luring a child to facilitate an offence.
