Pats end Alberta trip with a loss in Medicine Hat

 

The Regina Pats were unable to extend their point streak to four games as they were defeated by the Medicine Hat Tigers 5-1 on Sunday.

Connor Bedard opened the scoring with his 43rd goal of the season. The Pats captain had his 35-game point streak snapped on Friday in Lethbridge.

Shots were in favour of Medicine Hat 32-31 and both teams were 0/3 on the powerplay.

Drew Sim made 27 saves for the Pats in the loss.

Regina ended their four-game trip in Alberta with a 2-1-1 record.

With the win, the Tigers are now one point back of the Pats for seventh spot in the Eastern Conference.

The next action for the Pats will be this Saturday when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Brandt Centre. Coverage begins at 6:35, opening faceoff is 7:00.
