Regina Police charge four people after drug trafficking investigation

Four people are facing drug trafficking and firearms charges after an investigation by the Regina Police Service Street Gang Unit.

Over the course of two months, police identified suspects believed to be involved in drug trafficking.

On August 25, police initiated a traffic stop as well as a pair of seizures on two residences leading to four people being arrested and police seizing:

  • A loaded firearm
  • Illicit drugs, including including 850 grams of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine, 47 grams of MDMA, and 48 grams of a substance believed to be CocaineT
  • Two firearms and ammunition
  • Over $16,000 in Canadian currency

As a result, a 41-year-old, 32-year-old, and a 38-year-old man, as well as a 35-year-old woman, all from Regina, were charged with various drug trafficking and firearms offences.

Two of those charged made their first court appearance earlier this week, with the other pair set to make their first court appearance in Provincial Court on October 12.
