A joint Internet Child Exploitation investigation between Saskatchewan and Alberta units have led to the arrest of two men and the rescue of two children.
On June 24, Sask ICE received information of two suspects sharing child pornography, and it became apparent that this was a multi-province case.
Two days later, RCMP executed warrants in Rocanville as well as in Red Deer. Several electronic devices were seized, and two men were arrested. As well, two children were located and were taken to safety.
A 35 year-old Rocanville man is facing eight charges, including three counts of sexual interference, while a 40 year-old Red Deer man is facing 11 charges, including sexual assault and sexual exploitation. Neither suspect will be named.
