Cannon out, Marshall & Lauther questionable for Riders game vs Calgary

When the Saskatchewan Roughriders release their depth chart for Saturday’s game against Calgary at Mosaic Stadium, it will look a lot different than the one they had for the 25 point win over Toronto on Canada Day.

Head Coach Craig Dickenson says KD Cannon is out with a lower-body injury and will be replaced in the starting lineup by first-round draft pick Justin McInnis.   Dickenson adds Sam Hurl will not play, but Solomon Elimimian is expected to see his first game action of the year.  The linebacker has been sidelined since training camp with a calf injury.

Defensive back Nick Marshall may or may not go with an ankle injury while Brett Lauther is a game-time decision as he battles a groin injury.  If he can’t go, rookie Gabe Ferraro, who was signed this week, would get the call.

Game time Saturday night is 8 with our pre-game coverage on 620 CKRM starting at 5.
