Agriculture minister David Marit says Saskatchewan set a new farm export record of 17.5 million dollars last year.

Marit says exports rose 7 percent over the previous years record.

He says key farm exports were canola, wheat, and pulses.

Marit says important markets for Saskatchewan farm products include the U.S. at four billion dollars and China at 3.6 billion dollars.
