Regina and others break record for warmest June 3 in history

The first Monday in June was a record-breaker when it comes to the weather.

The temperature in Regina on Monday got just over 35 degrees making it the warmest June 3rd in history breaking the old record of 33.7 in 1988.

Moose Jaw also set a record at 35.2 degrees which made them the hottest spot in Canada for a while.

Swift Current, Weyburn, Fort Qu’Appelle, Melville and Rockglen were just a handful of communities that also broke the record for the warmest June 3.

The forecast is calling for temperatures to be ten degrees cooler in Regina on Tuesday with a high of 25. If the forecast holds true, we will see rain on the weekend with a highs in the mid to high teens.
