The Regina Thunder have a chance for redemption in Saskatoon

The Regina Thunder (5-1) will have an opportunity for retribution tonight when they meet the Saskatoon Hilltops (6-0) at SMF Field.

Earlier this month, the Hilltops handed the Thunder their first regular loss since the 2019 season at Mosaic Stadium (36-6).

Tonight’s game will likely decide first place in the Prairie Football Conference (PFC). Regina needs to beat Saskatoon by more than 30 points to claim the tie-breaker.

Since their last encounter, both teams have picked up a pair of wins with the Thunder defeating the Winnipeg Rifles and Calgary Colts.

Last week, the PFC Offensive Players of the Week were a pair of running backs that will be in action tonight in the Thunders Ryland Leichert and the Hilltops Boston Davidsen.

Following tonight’s game, the Thunder will wrap up the regular season next Sunday against the Edmonton Huskies at Leibel Field.
