In his second game in the National Hockey League (NHL), Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard made some history.
The former Regina Pats captain scored his first career goal in the NHL on Wednesday night against the Boston Bruins.
Bedard opened the game’s scoring with a wraparound that beat Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark.
Boston would battle back with a pair of goals from David Pasternak to defeat the Blackhawks 2-1.
