Pats send Kieper to Kamloops in exchange for draft picks

 

The Regina Pats made a move in their crease on Tuesday.

Matthew Kieper has been dealt to Kamloops for  a 2023 fourth-round pick (via EDM) and a 2025 sixth-round pick.

The 18 year old had a 23-22-1-2 record, with a 3.88 goals-against average, and a .873 save percentage with one shutout over 55 career appearances with the Pats over parts of four seasons.

This season, the Winnipeg product was 4-5-0-1 with a 4.39 GAA and a .865 SV%.

With Tuesday’s trade, Drew Sim and Kelton Pyne are the two goalies currently listed on the Pats roster.
