This Saturday the Town of Assiniboia will be celebrating all the cultures that make up the the fabric of the community and surrounding area with their annual Ethnic Jubilee.
“This is our fourth Jubilee. We started back in 2015 and we have it every two years except during COVID,” explained organizer Kathy Bergeron.
The event will feature various foods from Greece, The Philippines, France, Germany, Vietnam, and India in addition to performances from Terrance Littletent, Sounds of Africa, and Ukrainian, German, and Caribbean dance ensembles.
“It’s so affordable. It’s $10 for the entire day for adults, students are $5, and kids age 6 and under are free,” noted Bergeron.
