Reginans being asked to come through to replace bikes stolen from elementary school

A school in Regina’s east end is missing some bikes donated to them as they were stolen sometime over the last several days.

The theft was noticed last week by the school’s principal with seven bikes being stolen at a cost around $1,000

Regina police are now looking for a suspect. He is described as a man with a heavier build in his 30’s. He was wearing a grey sweater and tan pants.

The bikes, which were donated, were going to go to certain kids to recognize their excellence in the soon-to-be ending school year.

One of our sister stations is helping out the school. The WOLF 104.9 is asking Reginans to donate bikes, locks, helmets and other accessories by coming down to our studios on the 1900 block of Rose Street before 5 o’clock on Friday in an initiative being called “Operation Hot Wheels”.
