Riders sign Offensive Lineman Noah Zerr

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed and brought offensive lineman Noah Zerr to his home province.

Zerr, a native of Langenburg, Saskatchewan, comes to the Roughriders after spending the 2023 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, where he dressed for three games.

The 25-year-old lineman was initially selected by the B.C. Lions in the second round, 12th overall, during the 2022 CFL Draft. In his debut season, Zerr suited up for four games with the Lions.

Before entering the professional ranks, Zerr showcased his skills during five collegiate seasons (2016-2021) at the University of Saskatchewan. Primarily playing at left tackle, he contributed to the Huskies’ success, helping them secure the Hardy Cup and the Uteck Bowl in 2021.

Zerr’s notable achievements include being named U Sports First-Team All-Canadian and earning Canada West All-Star honours in 2021. Additionally, he was recognized as the Huskies’ top lineman of the year.
