Province Unveils Remote Learning Portals

Remote learning in Saskatchewan will be based in Kennaston, but have regional hubs right across the province, according to the provincial government.

The hubs are located in Estevan, Moose Jaw, La Ronge, Moose Jaw, Neilburg, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Swift Current, Yorkton and Saskatoon.

These will form the local hubs that students who are learning on line can use.

“These locations will provide access to quality online learning for students around the province as well as opportunities for teachers to collaborate to support students learning,” Education Minister Dustin Duncan said in a release to the media. “Students will have the option to receive support virtually or in person from these regional campuses.”

Students will get access to wide range of programming, and elective courses through the portal.

Students will be able to start registering for the program in April.
